Bi-Directional Control/Active Test:

Active Test function is used for outputting signal to vehicle control unit using the device to control actuator for test, so that it can test whether the actuator works normally, such as Fuel Pumps test, EGR test, etc.

Special Function:

Special Function generally refers to the initial adaptation, self-learning or some auto detection function with many procedures that the vehicle is performed after maintenance or reset is done or some related component in electronic control system is replaced, such as Crankshaft Position Sensor Learn.

How to perform Active test/Special Function?

a) Read vehicle by auto detect, manual input or manual selection;
b) Select Auto scan or Control Unit ----- (Powertrain/Body/Chassis) ---- relevant module---Active test;
c) Take steps by following the on-screen instructions.

Battery Test:

Note: this function needs to work with MaxiBAS BT506 (need purchasing separately).

Battery Test function is a battery and electrical system analysis function that uses adaptive conductance, an advanced battery analysis method to produce a more accurate examination of the battery’s cold cranking ability and reserve capacity, which is vital to determining a battery’s true health. It enables technicians to view the health status of the vehicle's battery and electrical system. Together with the BT506, this application can complete battery & starting and charging system tests and display the test results.

Battery Test function includes In Vehicle test and Out of Vehicle test function.

✔️ In-vehicle Test is used for testing batteries that are installed in a vehicle. An in-vehicle test includes battery test, starter test, and generator test. These tests help determine the health status of the battery, the starter, and the generator, respectively.
✔️ Out-vehicle test is used to test the condition of batteries that are not connected to a vehicle. This function aims to check the health status of the battery only.

Digital Inspection(Use with MV108):

The Digital Inspection application configures the MaxiSys Diagnostics Device to operate as a digital video scope by simply connecting the tablet to a Digital Inspection Camera. This function allows you to examine difficult-to-reach areas normally hidden from sight, with the ability to record digital still images and videos, which offers you an economical solution to inspect machinery, facilities, and infrastructure in a safe and quick way.

OE-Level All Systems Diagnistics:

The OE-level compatibility of this diagnostic device is high with access to European, Asian and American applications for resets, module coding, bi-directions capabilities and relearns. By establishing a data link to the electronic control units of the vehicle being serviced directly, the full car diagnose system allows you to:

Auto VIN Scan:

Autel MaxiCOM MK808BT auto diagnostic scanner comes with the latest VIN-based Auto VIN Technology that enables technicians or home mechanics to identify vehicle information, like brand, year, make, model and etc, at a single touch to perform all systems diagnosis accurately and efficiently.

1.Auto VIN Scan:

The MaxiCOM diagnostic system features the latest VIN-Based Auto VIN Scan function to identify vehicles and scan all the diagnosable ECUs and run diagnostics on the selected system. This function is compatible with 2006 and newer vehicles.

2.Manual VIN Input:

For vehicles not supporting the Auto VIN Scan function, you may manually enter the vehicle VIN.

3.Automatic Selection:

The Auto VIN Scan can be selected after selecting the test vehicle manufacturer.

4.Manual Selection:

When the vehicle's VIN is not automatically retrievable through the vehicle's ECU, or the specific VIN is unknown, the vehicle can be manually selected.

Note:
1.Some modules may not store VIN number in it. And you can navigate the vehicle through the menu manually. It will not affect your use of the diagnostics or service functions.
2.To perfermance the autoVIN functions, it depends on your car. As long as the VIN information is programmed into the ECU of your car by the car Manufacturer, then the device can automactically identify the VIN information. Old cars usually don't have autovin functions, newer cars do.

Key Fob Programming:
