Answer:It does not fit for 06 beetle, you can also check the item description, it fits for VW.
(2)Question:Do I need any other part to attach this to my current armrest that has its cover broken off
Answer:I did not need another part and it fit in just fine in my for '03 Jetta.
(3) Question:Would this cover fit a new for beetle 2001?
Answer:Not sure. I put it in my for golf 2002.you can measure the size of the original car armrest cover first to avoid making a mistake.
